Matt is Co-Founder of Beneficial Ventures, the country's first B-Corp Commercial Real Estate company which he helped form in 2018, prior to that Matt spent time crafting a strategy for the first B-Corp Trucking Company, RFX Forward. His role was as Chief Strategy & Karmic Officer.

Matt has spent 8 years traveling Asia, mostly on an inward journey exploring vipassana meditation and yoga. Along this path he formed KarmaVentures, a group providing educational assistance, waste management solutions and relief efforts to communities in Nepal and Honduras.

Prior positions include Senior Managing Director at Foundation Source Philanthropic Services Inc. the nation’s leading provider of support services to private foundations.

Additionally, Matt has held executive positions with several leading financial technology companies, including:

• Chief Marketing Officer for publicly traded internet financial services provider, Corillian Corporation
• Vice President of Microsoft's Transpoint Bill Presentment Service
• Industry Executive for Microsoft's Banking Division. 

 

Matt holds an MBA from University of Connecticut, and BA from Ithaca College. He currently resides in Seattle, WA.
